Axera
About

Axera didn’t start as a product. It started as a problem we kept hitting.

We build and run Kubernetes security for regulated enterprises — banks, insurers, public sector. Axera is the tool we needed in the field, and couldn’t find.

On the ground, in customer clusters, we kept reaching for the same three things and coming up empty: an honest, real-time picture of what actually talks to what; a way to turn that into least-privilege policy without breaking production; and — when something slipped through — a way to catch it and contain it, all without shipping the customer’s network telemetry off to someone else’s cloud.

Existing tools made us choose. Visibility from one vendor, segmentation from another, detection from a third — stitched across two consoles and a SIEM, and half of them assumed a mesh or a specific CNI we didn’t have. None of it ran cleanly inside a regulated, sometimes air-gapped, environment.

So we built the thing we wished existed. Axera puts microsegmentation and NDR on one control plane that runs entirely in your clusters, on any CNI, from a single operator — because that’s what the job actually needed.

Axera is built by Quasys and ships as a Red Hat certified OpenShift operator.
